During National Volunteer Week (19鈥25 May), 西瓜影视 joined the Australian Sports Commission to give #3CheersForVolunteers to the clubs that exemplify outstanding volunteer involvement. These clubs show that when passionate people come together, incredible things happen.

Kissing Point FC 鈥 Football NSW
Kissing Point FC is home to a proud volunteer culture, where club members past and present go above and beyond. From setting up training equipment to running community programs, the club鈥檚 video highlights the sheer scale of support. Their strong sense of belonging and legacy of giving back makes Kissing Point a standout in volunteer spirit.
Barossa United FC 鈥 Football SA
Barossa United leads by example, celebrating and empowering its volunteers through inclusive culture and innovative programs. With over 100 volunteers supporting everything from refereeing to fundraising, the club focuses on collaboration and creating safe spaces. As Football SA reports, Barossa United鈥檚 leadership has built a club where volunteers feel valued and inspired.
North Launceston Eagles FC & Kingborough Lions FC 鈥 Football Tasmania
These two Tasmanian clubs exemplify how to embed volunteer appreciation into the fabric of the club. Kingborough Lions proudly honoured more than 60 volunteers with commemorative scarves and public tributes. North Launceston Eagles continue to grow their volunteer base, particularly around women and girls鈥 football, showing that recognition and support are key to sustainability.
Dandenong City SC 鈥 Football Victoria
Dandenong City SC has made significant strides in fostering a positive club culture through volunteer engagement. Esperance Soccer Association 鈥 Football West
In remote coastal WA, Esperance Soccer Association thrives thanks to a culture of community-driven solutions. Crescent Head FC 鈥 Northern NSW Football
Crescent Head FC has grown to 180 players across 14 teams in 2025, thanks to the backbone of 20 dedicated committee volunteers. This growth reflects the club鈥檚 deep commitment to development, community engagement, and gender equity. Initiatives like MiniRoos coaching courses, Female Football Week celebrations, and weekly BBQ fundraisers have made Crescent Head a true community hub.
