Welcome to our Referee Training Programs

Whether you鈥檙e 13 or 60, stepping into the world of refereeing is an exciting journey. Our training programs are designed to be engaging, practical, and adaptable, just like the Modern Referee we aim to develop.

Our programs combine online learning with face-to-face classroom sessions, offering a flexible way to learn. The online modules cover essential theoretical concepts, which are then reinforced in person through discussions, practical exercises, and real-life scenarios. This balanced approach not only helps you understand the game but also allows you to hear from experts, ask questions, and grow in confidence.

Our face-to-face sessions focus on applying what you鈥檝e learned, encouraging critical thinking and adaptability. Refereeing is more than memorising rules; it鈥檚 about understanding the game, managing matches effectively, and connecting with players and coaches. These sessions challenge you to think like a Modern Referee while providing the support you need to succeed.

By the end of the program, you鈥檒l develop skills that go beyond the field. Our key goals are to help you:

  • Enjoy the game you love.
  • Stay adaptable, open to feedback, and approachable.
  • Remain human and relatable in your interactions.

Refereeing is more than enforcing the laws, it鈥檚 about being part of the game at all levels. See below for more details on where this journey can take you.
