Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ Hall of Fame 2022 nominations open

Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ is opening up nominations to be submitted for the Hall of Fame class of 2022.

The Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ Hall of Fame recognises extraordinary accomplishments over a career by players, coaches, referees, administrators, media and participants who have made a significant contribution to the game in Australia. 

Nominations close on 30 August 2022 at 11:59pm AEDT, with the football community encouraged to submit their recommendations for the next inductees

The nominations will be judged by a panel of Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ historians and should meet the following criteria:

  • Players have to be retired for a period of five (5) years
  • Coaches, referees, administrators or media representatives may be recognised for their overall sustained contribution to the game
  • Recipients of an Australian Football Award may also be considered
  • Nominees must be Australian citizens
  • All nominations must be for individuals
Note: Unsuccessful nominees may be re-nominated in subsequent years
