Growing Football Community Grant Program 

Following the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023â„¢, Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ in partnership with CommBank launched the Growing Football Fund to support the continued growth of women’s football across Australia.

Through the Growing Football Community Grant Program, 239 community clubs and associations have been supported to deliver initiatives that look to develop and/or promote women's and girls’ football. 

 

Grant Objectives

The primary objective of the Community Grant Program is to provide tangible support to clubs and associations, with a focus on initiatives that look to attract or retain women and girls in football.

The Community Grant Program will also aim to:

  • provide quality experiences for new and returning football participants that encourage ongoing participation in football.

  • support the education and development of community coaches that improve the skills and knowledge of coaches to provide quality football experiences.

  • support clubs and associations in developing inclusive and safe environments to support the retention of women and girls at their club.

The Growing Football Community Grant Program Grant Guidelines and funding conditions can be found in the below document. The Guidelines provide information on all things related to the grant, including eligibility criteria, type of activities that will or will not be funded, assessment criteria and more. Any club or association wishing to apply for the Growing Football Fund must review these guidelines.
