FFA President Steven Lowy AM expressed his sadness at the passing of former Asian Football Confederation General Secretary Peter Velappan yesterday.
鈥淒ato鈥 Peter Velappan was the longest serving General Secretary in AFC history and made an immense contribution to the development of Asian football. We are very grateful for his dedication and service to the game over a number of decades.
