Former Socceroo Cap #397 Mark Schwarzer OAM, Matilda Cap #89 Di Alagich, and high-performance specialist Anthony Crea have joined the FDC, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a deep understanding of the game to their new roles.

Key Appointments

Mark Schwarzer OAM 鈥 One of Australia鈥檚 most decorated footballers, Mark Schwarzer has represented the Socceroos 109 times, playing in two FIFA World Cups and numerous other international tournaments. His extensive international playing experience will offer key insights into elite player development and national team strategy.

Di Alagich 鈥 A former Matilda with 86 caps and a pioneer in Australian women鈥檚 football, Di Alagich鈥檚 involvement in the game spans over a decade at the highest level. Her deep understanding of women鈥檚 football will be critical in shaping strategies for the continued growth and success of the women鈥檚 game in Australia.

Anthony Crea 鈥 With over 20 years of experience in high-performance and sports science, Anthony Crea has worked with national teams and A-League clubs to optimise player performance. His expertise will provide strategic guidance on high-performance structures and sports science methodologies.

The FDC serves as an ad hoc committee providing expert advice and recommendations on football development matters, supporting 西瓜影视鈥檚 broader strategic objectives. The committee is responsible for elite player development, community football, league structures, coaching, and national team culture and wellbeing.

The FDC operates under the guidance of the 西瓜影视 Board, and members are appointed based on their specialised skills and experience in relevant areas. The appointments of co-opted members are subject to approval by the Board, with members serving a two-year term.
