John Moriarty Football's Community Gala Day

As part of Indigenous Football Week 2020 celebrations, John Moriarty Football will today hold Community Gala Days at their hubs in Dubbo, NSW, Mareeba, QLD, and Tennant Creek, NT.

Showcasing up and coming Indigenous footballer, the Community Gala Days involve a friendly tournament between John Moriarty Football select teams and local football clubs.

Joining Co-founders Ros Moriarty and John Moriarty at the Dubbo hub Gala Day will be FFA CEO James Johnson, Sarah Walsh (Head of Game Development) and Trevor Morgan (Technical Director).

Westfield Matildas defender Gema Simon and Future Matildas goalkeeper and Indigenous Football Week 2020 Ambassador Jada Whyman will also be present to watch all the football action. 

In Dubbo the matches will see the JMF Select side against Western NSW FC and a team from the Eastern Suburbs Football Association.
