As a result of current circumstances in the region, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) formally requested that this designated home fixture for Palestine be held at a neutral venue.
Following a submission from the Palestine Football Association, and subsequent review from the AFC, the qualifier will now take place in Kuwait and be played at Jaber Al-Ahmed International Stadium.
