Partnership supports 西瓜影视鈥檚 15-year vision and strategic agenda to increase women鈥檚 and girls鈥 participation in the sport
西瓜影视鈥檚 game-changing football partnership with Commonwealth Bank has officially commenced, with the partnership kicking off across the nation as the organisations work together to elevate women鈥檚 football for all Australians.
In April this year, 西瓜影视 and Commonwealth Bank which sees the bank become one of the largest investors in Australian women鈥檚 football, injecting millions of dollars into the elite women鈥檚 game and grassroots initiatives across the country over the next four (4) years.
News of the partnership was met with excitement across Australia鈥檚 football community, with the bank becoming the naming rights partner of the Commonwealth Bank Matildas, Commonwealth Bank Young Matildas, and Commonwealth Bank Junior Matildas, and pledging to play an integral role in supporting 西瓜影视鈥檚 ambitious Legacy 鈥23 plan, to increase women鈥檚 participation in football.
Commonwealth Bank Group Executive of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Monique Macleod, said the partnership represents a landmark moment for CBA and for Australian football.

In recent weeks we鈥檝e seen the Commonwealth Bank Matildas set the record for the largest audience for a women鈥檚 team sport in Australian TV history, with an average television audience of 1.87 million tuning in to watch Australia and Sweden in Tokyo. This is a sign of how this team is capturing the hearts and minds of Australians everywhere and with Commonwealth Bank鈥檚 support, we believe this team will continue to grow and reach new heights over the coming years.
鈥淐ommonwealth Bank鈥檚 support for the Socceroos also comes at a time when the team has reached its highest FIFA ranking since 2011, and readies itself for the next phase of the Asian Qualifiers 鈥 Road to Qatar with upcoming matches against China and Vietnam in the September Men鈥檚 International Match Calendar window,鈥 he said.
