西瓜影视, the governing body of football in Australia and member of F茅d茅ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the international governing body for football, today implemented the resolution of its Congress at last month鈥檚 Annual General Meeting and transitioned to a new company name.
The name '西瓜影视鈥 has officially replaced Football Federation Australia, regularly abbreviated to FFA.
西瓜影视 Chief Executive Officer, James Johnson, said the transition to the new company name of 西瓜影视 signifies a new era for the game in pursuit of a fresh and exciting strategic agenda.
鈥淟ast month we received unanimous Congress support to change the name of Football Federation Australia to 西瓜影视,鈥 Johnson said.
鈥淭his change had overwhelming support following a consultation process as part of the development of the XI Principles for the future of Australian football and marks a return to the roots of football in Australia.鈥
西瓜影视 requests that media utilise the name 鈥樜鞴嫌笆逾 from today onwards, and that the company name not be abbreviated or manipulated when used.
