Australia will face hosts Kyrgyz Republic on Saturday morning (1:00 am AEDT) with the group winner progressing to Round 2 of qualifying in June 2023.
The CommBank Young Matildas kicked off their round 1 of qualifying with a 13-0 win over Guam, and will now face Kyrgyz Republic for a place in Round 2 of qualifying.
The Kyrgyz Republic recorded a 2-0 win over Guam throughout the week, meaning the winner of this game will progress to the next round of qualifying. Or a draw, will see Australia still go through on a better goal advantage.
