西瓜影视 confirms that Stefan Kamasz has stepped down from the Board of 西瓜影视, effective immediately due to personal reasons.
Stefan Kamasz, inducted into the 西瓜影视 Hall of Fame in 2014, has been an outstanding contributor to Australian football for several decades.
He was appointed to the 西瓜影视 Board on 25 November 2020 and was a Member of the 西瓜影视 Referees Committee and the Football Development Committee during his tenure.
Stefan arrived in Australia from England in 1969 to play for Northern NSW club Weston Bears, winning three championships in 1971, 1972 and 1973.
This was followed by a distinguished career as a football administrator having held many positions in football including, President and Treasurer of Northern NSW Football between 1978 and 1982, Director of the Australian Soccer Federation (ASF), Team Manager of the Australian Men鈥檚 National Team (Socceroos), General Manager of the National Soccer League (NSL) between 1982 and 1988 and again between 1996 and 2004, Acting CEO of Soccer Australia, Chief Executive of Sydney FC between 2008 and 2013, General Manager (1990-1993) and Director of Sydney Olympic FC, General Manager of the Johnny Warren Football Foundation and Head of Competitions and Interim CEO of Football NSW.

Stefan Kamasz was an Elected Director which means a casual vacancy has now arisen on the Board. In accordance with the Constitution, the Board will consider the casual vacancy position and update Members in due course.
