鈥淢ore than a Game鈥

Underpinned by the significance of the 2023 Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 IFCPF Asia-Oceania Championships, the brand identity is uniquely infused with the spirit of CP football and Australia as a host nation.

The Eucalypt Leaf (from the most common tree in Australia, covering 77% of Australia鈥檚 total native forest area) is incorporated in the bespoke Championships type style and represents the growth that this tournament will bring to the CP game.

At the heart of the brand identity is a unifying sphere representing a football built from the leaf shapes that has a floral feel, angled lower left top right with the motif symbolising progression.

西瓜影视 Head of Inclusion, Sarah Walsh, said: 鈥淭his is a significant milestone on the hosting journey for a historic tournament in Australia.

鈥淭he 2023 IFCPF Asia Oceania Championships is a unique opportunity to highlight and celebrate Cerebral Palsy Football in our region and to advance the game to new heights 鈥 on and off the pitch.

鈥淥ur tournament brand identity speaks to the huge step forward for the respect and recognition of para footballers and enables the Championships to hero the stories of the players and their achievements.

鈥淢ore than a Game鈥 speaks to these stories and the aim of the tournament to elevate awareness of CP football (men鈥檚 and women鈥檚), creating new sporting heroes and bringing together the wider community,鈥 she concluded.

Continuing the inclusive and progressive nature of the tournament, the brand colour ways utilises magenta, powder blue, deep blue and gold offset with a delicate calming cream background to produce an optimistic, vivacious, bold, modern and striking colour palette.

As the 2023 tournament endeavours to be remembered as a landmark year for the sport, this makes the number 23 significant, and it is featured heavily throughout the branding elements.鈥

The 2023 IFCPF Asia-Oceania Championships will be the first time the Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 tournament will take place concurrently with five men鈥檚 teams and three women鈥檚 teams participating from the Asia-Pacific region.
